Optimax® Dust Reduction Units are designed for use with compatible cardboard shredders fitted with a dust extraction outlet, helping to collect airborne dust and cardboard particles created during the shredding process. They are particularly useful for businesses that shred cardboard regularly and want to reduce the amount of loose dust and residue around the machine, making waste easier to collect as part of the shredding process. The range includes single-phase and three-phase options, both supplied with a 3 metre flexible connector hose. The single-phase model features a 600W motor and 70 litre waste bag capacity, while the three-phase model uses a 1500W motor with a larger 148 litre waste bag for greater collection capacity. Each unit is powered separately from the shredder, so the dust extractor power phase does not have to match the shredder itself, provided the machines are otherwise compatible.
