Extruded polyester (PET) strapping delivers high strength and elasticity for securing heavy loads on pallets and in transit. The strap’s inherent memory helps it recover after movement or impact and maintain tension for extended periods, providing a robust alternative to steel in many applications. Suitable for outdoor use, PET is UV-resistant and supports sustainability goals by being made from 30% recycled material, fully recyclable itself, and supplied on a cardboard core made from 100% recycled content. Reels are available in a range of widths and breaking strains to suit different load types and packing lines, and are commonly supplied in green for easy identification. For best results, use with appropriate tensioning and sealing equipment and apply corner protection where required, as PET strapping is not suitable for use directly on sharp edges.
