Multipurpose Plastic Strapping Tensioners are designed for use with both Polypropylene and Polyester strapping, allowing the same tool to be used across different plastic strapping systems. Suitable for strap widths up to 19mm, they are used for pallet securing, carton bundling and general load stabilisation where manual plastic strapping is preferred. The range includes heavier-duty models capable of applying higher strap tension, helping improve load security on larger or heavier packs. Features such as six-point windlass mechanisms and brass bushings provide improved strap grip, smoother operation and extended tool life under regular use. These tensioners are used before sealing and should be paired with compatible seals or buckles depending on the chosen strapping system. They are intended for flat Polypropylene and Polyester strapping only; Composite Polyester, Woven Cord Polyester and steel strapping require dedicated tensioning tools designed for those materials.
