Layflat Tubing is designed for creating bespoke polythene bags to suit different product lengths, making it a practical option where standard bag sizes are not suitable. Manufactured from clear 62.5 micron low density polythene, it allows products to be loaded into the tubing before being cut and heat sealed to form a secure made-to-size bag. The range is available in different roll widths, allowing customers to choose tubing that matches the approximate width of the products being packed. Layflat Tubing should be used with a compatible heat sealer with cutter, allowing the operator to cut the tubing to the required length and seal the open end in one packing process. This makes it useful for packaging longer, irregular or variable-sized items without needing to hold a large range of pre-made bags. Film holders and heat sealers are not included with the tubing, so the correct compatible sealing and cutting equipment should be selected separately.
