Reinforced Water Activated Paper Tape is the stronger option for sealing heavier, higher-value or more demanding cartons where additional tear resistance and support are required. Unlike the standard version, the kraft paper is reinforced to increase tensile strength and help strengthen the carton during handling, storage and transport, making it better suited to heavier loads or packages exposed to more demanding distribution conditions. Once activated with water, the adhesive forms a fast, permanent bond with most grades of cardboard, helping the tape become securely bonded to the carton surface. Attempts to remove or lift the tape are likely to leave visible damage, making unauthorised opening and resealing harder to conceal and providing strong tamper and pilfer resistance. The range is available in a choice of widths and roll lengths, with both gummed-side-in (GSI) and gummed-side-out (GSO) options to suit different water activated tape dispensing equipment. For standard carton sealing, non-reinforced water activated tape still provides a strong tamper-evident seal, while the reinforced range is better suited to applications where additional tear strength and carton reinforcement are also required.
